happy december!  i found this post over at scoutie girl this morning- and fell in love!  i try to come up with a different, cheap and hopefully eco friendly way to wrap gifts each year- and baker’s twine is going to be it this year!

present for jenny (flickr)

isn’t this so simple and chic? there’s nothing more perfect than christmas stripes..

bakers twine by nice package

pink linen gift boxes by nice package

doesn’t take much to doll up a package- and it looks so classy!

button lunch gift bags by nice package

perfect for brown paper kraft.  also, our local newspaper printer gives the end of their rolls away b/c the get to0 small to use (though there’s still SO much on them!).  i used that last year- it’s just unprinted newspaper on a roll- it’s free and so easy to dress up!

faux bois tags (flickr)

swoon…

so where can you find this??

swann and smerlin (etsy supplier)

nice package

divine twine

green apple divine twine

obviously, i’m in love!

I saw the same post this morning, & have already order my twine! :D I plan on using some adorable tags I found on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=35196254) & wrapping the packages in kraft paper. :D

i’m so glad the post inspired you, bonnie! and i think you found even nicer images than i did!

i just can’t get enough of all this simple gorgeousness. i’m going nuts at my house – and even have my husband on board for my “theme.”

LOVE this post, Bonnie! Thanks for all the wrapping ideas. I have developed a HUGE crush on Baker’s Twine in the past couple of months. I will definitely be using it on packages this month! Me+Baker’s Twine=Bliss!

Thanks so much for including Divine Twine in your fantastic round up! So sweet of you! It’s so nice to know I’m not the only one that is affected by bakers twine. :)
Thanks!
Whitney

This is my favourite “Roost” yet! Always inspiring! I’ve been gift-wrapping my Etsy things with ribbon and the like, but baker’s twine would be a gorgeous touch! Off to go shopping… oh, how I love Etsy! Thank you!
