hi lovelies! i’ve finally finished my little project, and want to share it with you!

i fell in love with this print at an old antique store, decided to bring it home and then got creative!  i’ve always loved old prints, but never known quite what to do with them.  i’m also a romantic at heart- and love simple, sweet & dreamy sayings (though i never knew what to do with them either!). well, the two have collided and i’m very excited to reveal….

now open

the new shop i’ve been working on: old renewed!

clockwise :: follow me, you carry my heart, this place, follow meour story, fly away with me

i’ve been collecting old, vintage and past loved frames and pictures for a few months now.  i bring them home, clean them up, give their frames a fresh coat of white paint and then get to dreaming of what the picture makes me think of.  each of these upcycled past loved treasuries are given a new lease on life- and each remind me of a simpler, more romantic way of life.  i hope you like them!

If you allow me to point out something, I noticed that some of my favorites Etsy shop from the US tend to charge a lot for shipping which often puts me off (and I end up not purchasing). Sometimes the price point of the item is just right, but when I check the shipping fees, oh my, I am changing my mind!
    Voila…

  • Love, love, love them. This is one of those ideas that is so amazing you think WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT?!?

  • hi! yes, thank you! i know, i want to be able to offer very affordable shipping, but, some of the frames are so big i’m having to do some research. i (hopefully) overpriced to get the shop up, but have been on the phone with our postal co. getting them updated. they should all be correct (and cheaper) by tomorrow! thanks again!

  • These fit my taste so much, I did a little post of your new shop on my blog. I love your wonderful ideas of renewal and your blog. I’ll be visiting more soon.
