this is my project inspiration for a blogging class that i’m taking by the lovely holly of decor8, what do you think? these are things that truly inspire me, and the colors and soft palette make me feel so feminine and peaceful!
this was fun, but even more so therapeutic, and you guessed it! inspiring. so, i hope to start doing more of these to share with you. it’s important for all of us to gather the beauty in our lives that inspire us, don’t you think?

Wow, you did a fantastic job of representing your blog and the images you used are beautiful. Did you take them? Your photos of the mood board are great too, nice and bright!
I love your inspiration board! I’m a BYW student too, and I’ve been having so much fun checking everyone’s homework on the forum. I need to put a few more finishing touches on mine before the deadline Monday.
I love the soft, warm light that is coming off of your images it’s so cozy and inviting.

haha hey alex! and YES! them ar’ eggs! i’ve got ten laying hens (i’m such a proud momma!) and those are their eggs! i’ve got white, beige, chocolate brown and blue (yes, blue!) eggs. i love them!
Love this, especially the light, soft colours and different textures! Still have to do mine!

Oh, my – that is lovely! It has a serene hope and cheerfulness to it that is just perfect with the snow we have. Where did you find so many images? All my favorites seem to be on the computer…and I’m too pinch-penny to print them out. ;)

@thea: it is so interesting! and also very telling. it’s nice to know your inspired by this and that, but when you put it all together it’s so much more than that.
@sara: thank you! yay for the snooow! some of the images i took myself and others are from my flickr favorites. (i can tell you specifically, if you need!). i know, i bit the bullet and printed them out, but i’m so glad i did!

What a lovely composition – my eye just keeps circling around the picture – from the yellows in the tea cup & book, down to the yellow flowers at the bottom, then following the light greens around. It’s like a little visual journey! And I love all the inconspicuous little details – the eggs, the pink thread and buttons. Very nicely done.
