paper leaves
November 22, 2010
these paper leaves are actually a wallpaper created for your iphone or ipad, but seeing them just seemed to get my creative juices going. wouldn’t it be pretty to make your own paper leaves and crumple them about your thanksgiving day table? you could use children’s craft paper, or pretty scrapbooking paper. glitter them up or leave them plain, string them from the chandelier or use them as a center piece. you could even use them as place cards!

Oh I LOVE this idea! Hope you don’t mind if I steal it :) Been trying to figure out something to do for our Thanksgiving table and this just seems perfect and fun!
i made a bunch of origami leaves, and i’ll be hanging them in color-coordinated groupings, to make mobiles and garlands! :)
wow. i love the colors they’ve choosen. Some expected … some not so expected!
and anything with glitter … count me in!
anna, that sounds so lovely! would love to see pics. :)
if i can get it finished, i’ll share them! ;)
I got all my stuff organized and did my first batch of these. I think they turned out really cute…think I will throw a few more funky colors in there though :)

Thanks for the inspiration, Bonnie!
I love that wallpaper. And yes! I think it would be lovely interpreted into table decor. If you do it, take some photos! I’d love to see how it turns out. :)
