monday already? whew! this weekend flew by! but it sure was lovely.  temperatures were in the low 60′s and i was able to spend tons of time outside, a little book reading and even a little oscar watching.  how was your weekend?

 RE:constructing Ideas

i can’t get enough of this artist.  living in pittsburgh, pa mundania gathers inspiration from the city surrounding her.  she sees the old demolished only to be rebuilt in a new way for a new life.  her artwork at re:constructing ideas so vividly reflects paying homage to the past while embracing the present, it’s beautiful journey to look through them all!

“I was surrounded by the looming remnants of steelmills, abandoned warehouses and weather-worn advertisements emblazoned on the sides of buildings. All of them put there one time with a purpose, still remain there tarnished and a testament to time, the way it changes, the way it doesn’t change anything.” - Mundania Horvath
