earth hour is a worldwide act when millions of people, organizations, corporations and governments around the world come together to make a bold statement about their concern for climate change by doing something quite simple—turning off their lights for one hour. it’s tomorrow evening at 8:30 p.m.- your local time. i’ve made a group for going home to roost readers so you can:

Tomorrow evening is supposed to be beautiful down here in Tallahassee so I am definitely turning the lights off and enjoying a cool drink on our deck. Most likely for much more than an hour!
It’s good to see that earth hour is still going strong. I participated in it last year, and nearly let it slip by this time around. Thanks for the reminder! It’s such a simple thing we can do. And if everyone decided to try it out, just for an hour, it would make such an impact.
jenn, that sounds so nice! i think we could all use some more time with the lights off, and a drink on the porch or a candlelit dinner sounds just right. :)
