anthropologie inspiration

the groom and i headed out to go christmas shopping this past weekend and as usual, as i walked into anthropologie i was completely enamored. their displays, window set ups and decor around the store never fail to fill me with wonder and awe.  it’s as if they take the dreams of children and turn them into reality. i hope they inspire you, as well!

  • ::swoon:: I l-o-v-e anthro. I just go there to walk around and get visually inspired, let alone look at their clothing & housewares (love the hardware section!)
    So beautiful.

  • you know, most of the photos didn’t load and I am quite relieved, ahaha. I have never been in an anthroplogie and fear if that time ever did come they would have to escort me out at closing time – once they had found me in my handmade fort of loveliness!!

Wow! The first two pictures of the paper “loops” look like feathers quilted on a quilt, don’t they? hmmm……an idea for a display at the store!!!!! I’d put a “quilter’s spin” on it.

  • swoon, I love those ornament ones.

  • Isn’t it magical?! It really reminds me of Christmas when I was a child!!

  • oh yes, mom! you should search the web for anthro window displays to get some ideas!

  • I love Anthro too! Sometimes I have to set time limits for myself when I go in or I end up wandering around for hours!

  • Unfortunately most of the pictures didn’t load for me, but I LOVE their use of paper a book pages – what a clever way to upcycle and decorate!

  • They’ve just opened a store here in New Orleans. It was months being renovated from a Pottery Barn location. I waited with baited breath! It’s just gorgeous…two floors with a really cool stairway going up. Now I have to avoid it in order to keep my pocketbook happy!

  • hmm, wonder what’s going on with the photos? i’ve updated them all, is that any better?

  • I can never get enough of the Anthro windows.. even the teeny ones here at the Salt Lake store. I love meandering around that place; just being in the store and seeing and smelling everything pretty. <3

  • That is so funny. I have been making a much smaller version of that book display. I call them book mobiles.

  • hi jeni! oh, i bet it’s beautiful! would love to see pics :)
