Jes – get your friends together and have a gutter cutting party! Joking aside, I hope you do get the gutter – all that rain in FL would make for a bountiful rain barrel!

Lauren – I love the mini rain barrel too. The green part is a watering can, and it is the perfect size for the watering needs of an apartment. I’m definitely going to look up the DIY rain barrels on Young House Love – thanks for the tip!

Also read a great post on Young House Love about DIY rain barrels – I believe they attended a course in their area and made it in the class.

gotta convince my hubby to cut a gutter…been trying for 2 years…would really love a rain barrel…
