spring flowers & lemonade
March 24, 2010
even though it was pouring snow on monday, the high today is 72 and i’m simply sprung about spring! yes, enough to where i even made some hand squeezed lemonade, yum.
recipe:
1 cup of lemon juice
1 cup of sugar (i put a dash more, i like mine sweet!)
the squeeze of one lime
6 cups of cool water
stir until the sugar has dissolved, kick back, and relax!
today was also the first day that i was able to pick flowers from my yard, a splash of homegrown yellow goes a long way!

wrap up: {flowers} {gladening} {lemon} {lemonade} {spring} {sugar}

i made a one-glass version a few weeks ago with an about-to-pass lemon. you’ve reminded me how tasty that was, so now i’m going to have to go buy a bag and make my own pitcher! =)
Yes, it was weird weather here in Kansas too. Sunday the kids were building a snowman and yesterday it was 72 with some snow still on the ground. Thanks for sharing your recipe :)
Now that melts away the winter chills! Spring is here! I can’t wait to make some lemonade.
Yummy!!
