apparently, i was in the mood for rich hues today. philip govedare’s landscape paintings fit right in and i’m drawn in by the detail and depth to each of them. i see iceland, arizona and maybe even canada. what about you?

ok, not only do i love just about every piece that we are handsome makes, but oh how i love the intensity of these photos. they make me feel like a big ol’ beautiful summer day is just wrapping it’s arms around me. what a fun way to wear art on your body, and who wouldn’t love to sport that that wolf?

i guess i’m in the mood for birds today (that’s no surprise)! above is the beautiful work of natasha newton and i love how she takes her paintbrush off paper and onto other mediums (i especially love these rocks). inspired by the love of birds, nature and astronomy, natasha encourages us to feather our nests! i say, that’s an easy task with any one of her paintings.

you know i love me some rustic cottage decor, especially when it’s mixed with modern accessories and beachy colors. i think this do it yourself towel rack from this old house would be the perfect addition to any bathroom that needs a little extra touch. can’t you just see your house guests hanging up their towels and smelling the fresh flowers? cute. cute. cute.
