honor system
May 10, 2011

in other small news, i have to share with you the organic veggie stand that opened yesterday! i attended solvang’s beautiful farmers market last week (that’s where I found the cherimoya, have you ever had some?) and after chatting with one of the organic farmers there, found out they were opening a roadside stand- using the honor system! i love this place. after picking out all my goodies, i slid some cash in a big ol’ barrel and was on my way! i grabbed fresh organic kale, onions, strawberries, lettuce, spinach, and since i could have held the happy chickens, even a few eggs! :)

Wow! The honor system??? Amazing… I love the Farmer’s Market. it makes my week…
i have never heard of a cherimoya before, what do they taste like? looks like you got some good stuff! :)
oh, I love looking at your basket full of fresh goodies!
today I bought a few of my plants and seeds…can’t wait to hit the farmer’s market next week while I wait for my “stuff” to grow!
misty, I KNOW! i love it so much. :)
rachel, it’s so yummy! you split it apart, and it’s white inside. it’s very sweet, kind of like a coconutty-mango-pear?
yum, sounds amazing! :)
