fall is in the air

September 20, 2010

fall is in the airfall is in the air.. can you feel it? whether we want it to or not, it’s coming, and isphotography’s work makes me all the more ready for it.  crisp mornings and sweater evenings…  colorful leaves falling in the wind, pumpkins, apples and hot cider are just around the corner. it looks beautiful from irene suchocki’s camera lense, and it makes me eager for knitted scarves and pretty boots.

happy monday dear ones!  did you have a good weekend? i stayed around the house and accomplished some neglected to-do’s, and even squeezed in a deep house cleaning!  yesterday i finally picked my muscadine grapes that have been longing for my attention and made some grape juice, then made david some hot sauce from our hot peppers that have been growing abundantly.  i used this chili garlic hot sauce recipe, and let me tell you, it’s is so good!!

life through the lens photography

kristi lives her life through the lens.  she believes that aaron siskind best describes the way she feels about photography with this quote: “photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. what you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” i can see how the beauty and the passion from this quote truly weaves itself into her work.  what a beautiful life she lives through her lens!
