alexandra grecco lingerie and apparel

i would like you to meet a recently found favorite of mine, alexandra grecco. her handmade apparel including some 100% organic lingerie make me feel beautiful just looking at them!  you can certainly tell that she understands and loves the female figure, because every piece seems to hug, drape and flow in all the right places.  the creamy colors and cuts that do the body right made me fall in love with her shop at first glance.

hello to a brand new week!  did you have a good weekend?  other than my raging allergies, our time spent in charlotte and charelston was simply a blast!  i’m excited to get to work on all that’s going on here this week, and want to start with on of new favorite designers:

pretty plum sugar

pretty plum sugar designs loungewear and bedding that just about defines breezy and chic. her gorgeous silhouettes are inspired by ‘garden of eden’ palettes, perfect for the garden chic wardrobe. i find myself wearing one on a warm summer day at the beach, or maybe while i fix my coffee in the morning.  my favorite wardrobe pieces are those that can be thrown on and make me feel pretty and whimsical, and these look like the perfect addition!

please welcome guest poster: jen from indie fixx!

Since the gardening season is upon us and I have gardening on the brain, I thought I would share some Garden Chic fashions. Now these goodies aren’t necessarily practical to wear while actually out in the garden (well, maybe those dungarees are), but man are they très garden chic. So, go play in the dirt for a bit, come inside & get cleaned up and then dress up and hit the town bragging about how awesome your garden is gonna be!

spool no. 72

spool no

wow.  i got the most delightful email this week from heather paul introducing me to spool no. 72- and i am so excited that she did!  i’ve completely fallen in love with everything from spool no. 72- and have been swooning over it ever since.  my christmas list has grown quite a bit since i saw these lovelies.  i’m especially dying over the cream sweaters on row 2 & 3- and the roost necklace on the bottom row (i mean… hello!).  anyways, enough about how much i’ve been dreaming about all this and trying to rearrange my bank account to afford it all…. here’s a little more about them:

spool no. 72 was founded on the simple idea that style and design can and should easily co-exist.  their unfussy approach to style is completely reflected in their easy to wear and *gorgeous apparel.  this style says ‘me’ all over it- i love timeless pieces that can be effortlessly ‘thrown’ on and make you feel pretty and sophisticated all day!

make sure to check out their loverly blog too!
