i finally had to make my self stop perusing the many pages that geninne has to offer, so that i could get this posted to share with YOU!  geninne has just about everything i like when it comes to art, blogs, and style.  i haven’t come across anything that didn’t make me go, ‘ooo, ahh, oh!’.

for starters, her etsy shop boasts watercolor after watercolor that are simply splendid.  with everything from shrooms and birds to owls and piles of wood- what more could i ask for?  they’re even affordable.

moving right along, geninne’s art blog is a must see. not only will the images knock you off your feet but she’s features amazing craft tutorials and you can even watch her paint.

she not only logs her art projects, but also keeps a different blog for her son’s illustrations and another one for her puppy, turbo. to say the least, there’s enough here to keep you busy day dreaming, taking notes and getting inspired for hours.  enjoy!

boy, do i have a doozy for you today! i got the sweetest email form a fellow rooster yesterday introducing me to her blog, roost.  caitlin has been writing roost since just about the same time we started here, and i can’t believe we didn’t stumble upon one another until yesterday!  you will be nothing less than delighted to visit her blog and soak it all in.  it’s full of beautiful imagery and the most delicious recipes i’ve ever seen!  she has a wonderful archive section that summarizes all of her recipes and other inspiring posts, as well as an ‘in season’ page as a quick reference to see what’s in season.

i found rock scissor paper yesterday and have been obsessed with their *adorable store ever since.  this sister-sister team has some of the cutest items- and they are all right up my alley! i’m talking owls, woodgrain, woodland animals, and feel good sayings.  they are affordable and the perfect solution for gift giving, invites, coasters, cards, and more!

yup, you guessed it.  not only is their store amazing, but they have a fabulously inspiring blog to accompany it.  make something happy certainly makes me happy! every post is filled with inspiration, craft projects, art, recipes and the like. grab a cup of tea and go get inspired!

i love browsing the blogosphere and clicking away at all the lovely links my commenters leave behind.  a while back i stumbled across butterfly food and have been *loving it ever since!

i knew i liked ash as soon as i read her intro, “Fall and winter is here to stay and the holiday’s are cheerfully approaching. I know I may just be ready for some lazy cozy nights, comfy sweaters, spice cake, Christmas crafts, cups of hot cocoa and getting lost in a good book.” i thought, ‘now that’s my kind of gal!’

butterfly food is all about food and photography.  ash does her own photos and the results are fresh, unique and inspiring.  if you have a few moments- i encourage you to go get lost in it all today!

hi lovelies!  thanks to my wonderful and dear kate altmix, young house love has become my latest love in the blogosphere.  it’s a blog dedicated to two young people falling in love with their first house.  the diy projects and decorating skills leave you nothing short of inspired- and enthused to do some of your own projects (i just bought in a $5 thrift table yesterday with a fresh coat of pain already picked out!).  enjoy these before and after pics and then head on over to their blog to check out the endless supply of wonderful diy how to’s.
