i love the organic feel to lumafina’s beautiful jewelry. with hand cut pieces of metal, patina colors and the use of naturally shed deer antlers i think her pieces look feminine, natural and easy to wear. i especially love these dotted hoops and sweet chevron necklace.

i think this mixed media print by lucia johnson is so sweet. is that a little fawn i see snuggled in there? to me, nothing says love like eternally intertwined antlers.

everyone seems to know that i have a weakness for woodland animals. just this past weekend, a friend of mine saw a deer print at a thrift store and called me over just to make sure i didn’t miss it. i’m not sure exactly what it is about them, but i think these creatures take me back to nature, no matter where i am. especially when they are illustrated as beautifully as these. youareconstance by rebekah garibay features one sweet print after another- from birds and deer to rabbits and skunks!

i feel as though this post hardly needs any words, as the photos speak for themselves! this most perfectly woodsy, feminine and detailed jewelry comes to you from woodland belle. the artist, mai mckemy, lives in asheville, nc (our home grounds) and if you knew anything about the city, you wouldn’t be surprised. it’s filled with the most eco-aware, mindful people that honor both the earth and the arts. i love the intricate detail in all of her work, the moss on these twig hair pins and the tiny succulents on this garden necklace.

when i found gingiber’s shop, i couldn’t stop thinking about how sweet it was.  the cardinal was the first thing to catch my eye- as it’s my favorite bird! every time i see one i know it’s going to be a special day.  with lots of beautiful christmas inspired prints, gingiber makes for the perfect and affordable gift.  she also illustrates pretty calendars, notebooks and nursery art, so be sure to see more at her shop and blog.
