greenhouse prints at the home ground (1)

i’m totally in love with the new prints over at the home ground- they are simply breathtaking! i wish i could visit this greenhouse and thumb through all the plants as i walk down each isle (i have a thing for greenhouses). it’s like succulent heaven in there! the new series of prints is by the talented miss megan boltz, which may look familiar to you if you remember this post? yes, i’ve been in love with this look and collection for a long time. which is why i’m so excited that they turned this shoot into a series of prints!

a fairy tale garden shed

June 19, 2012

as i was scouring the web for garden greenhouses yesterday, i couldn’t help but fall in love with this dreamy garden shed. i just had to share it on it’s own!

a fairy tale garden shed

gail and mark dupar’s dreamy shed is the heart of their kitchen garden. it’s where they start seedlings, arrange flowers, raise tomatoes, store tools and dry freshly harvested shallots. the shade-cloth covered glass roof helps brighten the inside where tender plants hibernate over the winter. i especially love how they have integrated vintage pieces throughout- a former kitchen cabinet holds vases, seeds, and books and an antique leaded glass window hangs from an overhead beam. clear glass bottles let light from the greenhouse filter into the main shed while darker bottles, marbles, and twiggy prunings fill in around them. it’s quite the dreamy place, don’t you think?

one day, i will have a little greenhouse in my garden. it will double as a quite getaway and support all kinds of growth, both naturally and spiritually. below are a few that my dreams find especially inspiring!

unconventional greenhouses and beautiful gardens galore are what you’ll find in jeremy miranda’s shop and on his website and blog. the way he lights these warm-summery-night-greenhouses up from the inside, seem to deeply draw me in to each of his paintings. with warm muted colors and striking emeralds and olive tones, i long to visit such peaceful planthouse.
