this shop makes me happy!  i can’t help but smile as i browse through her creations and get her clever innuendos.  furthermore- it represents more inspiration for 2010!  one of my goals is to start keeping a journal for thoughts and ideas that i get but can never remember later.  and, who doesn’t have a bundle of reusable bags in their kitchen or car? another goal is to remember them- always.  finally, working on saving a tree- whether it’s by riding my bike or foregoing the paper- is always something i try to keep fresh in my mind.  if you need a smile, head over to bang bang you’re thread and browse around!

rigel stuhmiller is a bay area artist working in printmaking, illustration, design, and storyboarding.  there’s just something about simple vegetables that gets me excited- not sure if it’s because i love to eat them, or because i love to plant them- but either way rigel’s prints are right up my alley!

aren’t these illustrations stunning? maiko kuzunishi of decoylab is a graphic designer, artist, illustrator and more.  i love the pretty pale pinks and greens, they make me feel so feminine!

not only does she do fabulous illustration work, but also makes these adorable clocks.  i love how the numbers seem to be drifting mid-air in the first one.

visit freshline for the most adorable and whimsical illustrations.  Colleen is the lovely designer and also has a beautiful blog you can visit for extra inspiration!  she does  such a good job of wrapping all of those homey feelings into one piece of art- perfect for your wall!

Untitled 7 - Sign

don’t you just love thinking of your home as a nest? that must be why i like to roost so much..

freshline-1

all of her art is really affordable ($11-$30) but if that’s not enough, she’s also having an august sale on select items!

Untitled 7 - Sign-1

i’ve already picked a few that i will just *have to have for my kitchen and laundry room, and maybe for by the front door too..
