technically, this is my weekly point and shoot post, but i didn’t do much pointing and shooting this week. does that ever happen to you? sometimes i pull up my phone for photos and think i have too many to post, and other times (like today) i have almost none. i think it just goes to show how inspiration changes. i’ve been busy so i’m less inspired by my lens- i think it’s time to slow down a bit.

i did however manage to get this shot off our back porch. the blooms make me happy. :)

you might remember when i talked about the debut of the coastal collection from the homeground, but with her new collection officially photographed, brittany says it finally feels finished. after a day of shooting seaside- the coastal jewelry collection is nothing less than breathtaking.

i’m drawn to the natural stones and organic feel to these pieces, and i think the photography for this collection is magnificent. it makes me want to stroll a shoreline, dip my toes in the water and play with the natural stone that drapes from my neck. head over here to see behind the shoot-  rain, sand, dune grass and all!
