the roost tribe is excited to welcome rachael taylor to the master series as she joins us to discuss “taking risks and designing your way!“. rachael and i connected several years ago, when i was also able to take her groundbreaking surface pattern design e-course, ‘the art and business of surface pattern design‘. i highly recommend it! rachael is a super fun and energetic surface pattern designer and illustrator from britain who creates ‘patterns to make you happy’! rachael has been lucky enough to work for a number of prestigious clients worldwide and also runs her own design label along with successfully licensing a number of global branded collections. you can find her designs on fashion, home decors, greetings, gadgets and ceramics.
rachael has also just released a beautiful new book, 20 ways to draw a doodle’! it is the perfect creative book and resource for illustrators, cartoonists, doodlers and anyone who loves to sketch. rachael’s success has also led her to the new ventures of, ‘make it in design‘, ‘MOYO magazine’ and ‘the MOYO directory’.
