one of my favorite things to do each year is choose a gift wrapping theme. one year it was recycled newspaper, the next was huge glittered initials for each package. last year i used kraft paper and made pretty bows, and this year’s supplies will be arriving shortly (maybe later today!). i’ll be sharing with you the theme for this year next week, but for now here are my favorite picks for gift wrap from around the web.

hello, lovelies! did you know that march is national craft month? yeah, me neither! until i read about it from hello bluebird this morning, i was in the dark. how did i not know about this?! craft is my LIFE! in efforts to raise awareness about the month that represents so many of our livelihoods, i’ve decided to put together a little project for going home to roost. i’m so excited!

as august is my most favorite month of the year (it may or may not be my birthday month) i wanted to send you a little wish for a happy august! to me, august always resembles the last of summer veggies, canning in the kitchen and soaking up the last bit of summer heat. what does august mean to you?
