today, i am so excited to share with you the latest addition to the decor here at my house. this beautiful pink over-sized cowl (or foot warmer or bed covering) arrived this week from the domestic peacock and oh how i have loved incorporating it into our home!

it is so soft and the over-sized stitches make for just the right cozy look and feel. with our chilly mornings, this has been the perfect addition to my morning coffee. visit the domestic peacock to see more of her beautiful hand crocheted goodies!

i always try to use recycled, or otherwise landfill-bound goodies to wrap my gifts with (sorry everyone)- but by adding some fresh fabric scraps and some yarn or stickers- you can literally turn drab into fab!
